The room was very small, but it had all the basics. A few things that we found inconvenient was the absence of a caddy in the shower (which meant that there was nowhere else to put the shampoo and soap apart from the floor) and the poor television system (it had a grainy feed and no USB ports). Apart from that, we found it very peaceful and cosy, and the spa bath was a bonus. We were also very impressed with the fully-equipped kitchen, we had a functioning stove, oven, microwave oven, freezer / fridge and dishwasher.
The resort turned out to be so much more than we expected it to be. There was a restaurant, bar and pizzeria, as well as two health centres, each equipped with a pool, spa, two tennis courts and a gym. I tried my hand at tennis for the first time in my life, but it was more like hubby going "No, don't angle your racquet like that!" and "No, you're supposed to hit it OVER the net!" (I know that, hubby) and running around picking up stray balls. Nevertheless, we had a lot of fun!
We took advantage of the walking trails around the resort as well. We got to see quite a few animals, including horses and lots of rabbits (they were so cute!).
We really enjoyed our stay and hope to return in the future. Hopefully we will be able to stay for longer, say, a week, when we do. I'm looking forward to the days where we can really take our sweet time and soak in the atmosphere instead of trying to squeeze all the activities into a day or two. We will be back!
