Burnt Toast, Cape Woolamai

Having survived the Cape Woolamai walk on nothing else but half a banana each, we decided it was high time to have breakfast. A short drive took us to Burnt Toast, a little café nestled within Vista Place.

Nothing beats a mango smoothie after a long walk. It was chilled and smooth, not too sweet, with a hint of mango. Ah, so good!
I decided to go for Eggs Florentine. My only complaint was that I got the chalky, rubbery aftertaste from the spinach, which was a little unpleasant. However, I loved the fact that the hollandaise sauce was plated separately, which meant I could put however much or little I wanted. There's been too many times I've had my poached eggs drowned in sauce.

Hubby ordered himself a 'big burnt breaky' which consisted of scrambled eggs (or any other way, your choice), tomato, mushrooms, sausage, hash brown and sourdough.

It's great for a little stopover, or even for a lazy morning breakfast. Have a try!
